Biography

Trevor Findley is a lecturer at Harvard Law School, where he teaches in the Food Law and Policy Clinic. His expertise lies in food law and agricultural policy, particularly focusing on improving organic agriculture in the United States. Before joining the Food Law and Policy Clinic, he led federal advocacy efforts at the Organic Farming Research Foundation. Findley has also served as the Deputy Director for Food Disclosure Labeling at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), where he was instrumental in drafting regulations to implement the National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard. His previous work at USDA involved various conservation programs and farm financing operations. Findley holds a Master of Law (LLM) in Food and Agricultural Law from the University of Arkansas School of Law, and he earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from Willamette University College of Law. He also has a Master's in Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Willamette University. Currently, he is an active member of the Oregon State Bar and appreciates his roots in rural Oregon.
