Trevor Sharp is a Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Oxford and holds a Radcliffe Medical Fellowship. He obtained his BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham in 1979 and completed his PhD at the University of Nottingham in 1983, focusing on neuropharmacology and central nervous system neurotransmitters. He has also held visiting Professorships at Maastricht University and Hokkaido University. Currently, he serves as the Vice-President (Europe) of the International Society for Serotonin Research and was awarded the Irvine Page Lectureship by the ISSR in 2016.
