Dr. Trish Beck

Biography

Trish Beck is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy Studies, and Administration, Leadership, and Technology at NYU Steinhardt. She currently serves as the Program Director for the Ed.D. in Leadership Innovation. Trish obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College, a Master of Science in Leadership and Health Care Management from Northeastern University, and a Doctorate in Education, Leadership, and Innovation from New York University. She is a Board-Certified Nurse Executive and a Board-Certified Healthcare Executive, and a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Her research focuses on leadership theory development, supported by extensive leadership experience in the nonprofit healthcare sector. Trish has held numerous leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Assistant Vice President, Director, and Manager. She believes in the power of relationships and emphasizes the importance of mentorship and coaching within her teams. Committed to fostering a student-centered approach, Trish is dedicated to creating safe and supportive environments for students to excel. Her passion for teaching led her to develop various learning curricula focused on leadership innovation at multiple levels of education policy.
