Dr. Trish Ruebottom

Biography

Trish Ruebottom is an Associate Professor at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, where her research primarily focuses on the social norms surrounding transgressions and the resultant values derived from such actions. She has investigated these dynamics across various contexts, including entrepreneurship, community, and the sex industry. Ruebottom's work sheds light on the significant influence of ethics in business, social change, and institutional frameworks that govern social behavior. In addition to her research, she serves as the Acting PhD Program Director at the DeGroote School of Business, contributing to the academic development of the next generation of leaders in business ethics and social responsibility.
