Dr. Trisha Seys Ranola

Biography

Trisha Seys Ranola, PharmD, CDE, CGP, is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Assistant Director of the Office of Global Health at the University of Wisconsin's School of Pharmacy. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy in 2002 and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the William S. Middleton VA in 2003. With a strong commitment to global health, Dr. Seys Ranola has dedicated her career to improving health outcomes for high-risk, community-dwelling geriatric populations. Her research interests encompass population-based quality improvement, the management of polypharmacy, and the interdisciplinary team approach in primary care. She has played a key role in developing international programs and has served as an advisor for pharmacy students pursuing global health opportunities. Additionally, she is actively involved in collaborative teaching of community-based research methods and has contributed to various initiatives that focus on traditional medicine. Dr. Seys Ranola also precepts pharmacy students, residents, and medical fellows at the William S. Middleton VA clinic, where she provides chronic disease state medication management. Her extensive experience highlights her dedication to advancing public health through education and community engagement.
