Biography

Trisha Wells is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and serves as a clinical pharmacist within the Michigan Medicine health system. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan in 2003 and completed her pharmacy practice residency at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, in 2004. In 2005, Wells joined the University of Michigan as an ambulatory care pharmacist, developing her role at the U-M Brighton Health Center. Throughout her career, she has received state and national recognition from organizations such as the Michigan Pharmacists Association and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, particularly for her innovative patient care practices and contributions to the patient-centered medical home model. Her research interests include diabetes outcomes, the impact of clinical pharmacists in ambulatory care settings, and pharmacy student education.
