Dr. Trudi Ferguson

Biography

Trudi C. Ferguson is a Lecturer Emerita in the Department of Management and Organization at the University of Southern California. She has consulted extensively with large and small organizations in areas including organizational development, strategic planning, team building, executive coaching, and diversity. Ferguson serves on the Board of L.A. Ready Set Read and has contributed to significant discussions surrounding women's issues in the workplace. Her research has focused on the challenges faced by women entering non-traditional career fields and the pressures they encounter while seeking advancement in a highly competitive job market. Through in-depth interviews with notable figures such as retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and Governor Madeline Kunin, she has provided valuable insights into balancing career and family. Her groundbreaking research has been published widely, highlighting the experiences of successful women in business. Ferguson teaches at the USC Marshall School of Business.
