Biography

Trudi Lang is a Titular Associate Professor of Management Practice at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She is the Director of the Oxford Scenarios Programme and Co-Director of the Oxford Executive Strategy Programme. Prior to joining the school, Trudi served as Director of Strategic Foresight at the World Economic Forum and as a Consultant in Strategic Foresight for the OECD. She holds a PhD (DPhil, Management Studies) from the University of Oxford and is an active member of the Strategic Management Society and the Academy of Management. Her research primarily focuses on strategic reframing and strategy development, helping senior executives lead organizations in turbulent contexts. The research integrates themes such as scenarios and foresight that inform strategy, the interplay between organizational identity and strategy, and collaborative strategy for building new social capital. Trudi is also a core member of the school's executive education faculty and leads customized executive programs that are delivered both in Oxford and globally.
