Biography

Truong X. Tran is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Penn State Harrisburg, joining in August 2021. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Arkansas State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. His research expertise lies in the fields of Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Bioinformatics, and Software Engineering. Through his research, he aims to address real-world problems by embedding innovative solutions and conducting transformative research. He has also published numerous scientific papers in the field of Computer Science.
