Biography

Tse-Hui Teh specializes in architecture and urban design, completing her PhD at University College London in 2011. She has extensive experience in teaching and research, having worked as a fellow at Columbia University, where she focused on projects like the Gateway National Recreation Area. A Fulbright scholar, she also holds a master's degree from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Technology Sydney. With over ten years in professional practice across architecture, urban design, and interior design in both private and government sectors, her research interests include the collective coevolution of urban form and innovative public participation methods to develop sustainable urban infrastructures. Teh has collaborated with various specialists, including archaeologists and engineers, and received funding for projects addressing water and sanitation issues in the UK, Australia, and East Africa. She currently serves as a co-investigator on a Natural Environment Research Council funded project related to community water management in London and leads a Royal Academy of Engineering grant focused on sustainable groundwater systems in Uganda.
