Biography

Tsilly Dagan is a Professor of Taxation Law at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Worcester College. Her primary research and teaching focus on tax law and policy, emphasizing both domestic and international aspects and their interaction with the state and market. Professor Dagan is the author of the book 'International Tax Policy: Competition Cooperation', published by Cambridge University Press, which won the 2017 Frans Vanistendael Award in International Tax Law. She earned her LL.B. and S.J.D. from Tel Aviv University, and her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. Prior to her current role, Professor Dagan served as Associate Dean and Research Editor-in-Chief of a law review at Bar-Ilan University, where she was also appointed Raoul Wallenberg Professor of Law. She has taught and conducted research at prominent institutions, including the University of Michigan, the University of Western Ontario, and Columbia University. Additionally, she is a member of the Group for Global Justice at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Jerusalem, and she co-founded the Oxford-Virginia Legal Dialogs on International Tax Governance and Justice Workshop.
