Dr. Tugce Martagan

Biography

Tugce Martagan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University in Boston, USA. She is a part-time researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology, where she leads multiple Ph.D. projects as part of the VIDI career grant funded by the Dutch Science Foundation (NWO). Prior to her role at Northeastern, she served as an Associate Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology until January 2025. Her research interests center around Operations Planning, Accounting, and Control, focusing on optimizing processes and enhancing performance in various industrial contexts. With extensive experience in both academic and practical aspects of engineering management, she actively contributes to the field through her ongoing research, mentorship of graduate students, and collaboration with industry partners.
