Biography

Dr. Tulin Ozcan completed her medical education and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Ankara, Turkey. She pursued research fellowships in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Utrecht University in the Netherlands and Yale University, focusing on bench research in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. Dr. Ozcan is currently completing her fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Yale University, after previously practicing at the University of Rochester and the Fetal Center at CHOP, as well as University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She joined the Maternal Fetal Medicine faculty at Yale University in September 2023. Her clinical research interests include preeclampsia, prenatal ultrasound, and assessment of fetal hemodynamics using Doppler technology, particularly in the context of multiple pregnancies. She has a special interest in prenatal imaging and the diagnosis of fetal abnormalities, with a strong background in fetal echocardiography and advanced ultrasound techniques. Dr. Ozcan finds working with women undergoing high-risk pregnancies to be a rewarding aspect of her career, emphasizing the importance of patient-centered care and clear communication with her patients.
