Biography

Twan Basten is a Full Professor in the Electronic Systems group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research focuses on the design of embedded cyber-physical systems, emphasizing design synthesis, design-space exploration, and computational models to obtain dependable systems. His work is grounded in rigorous mathematical foundations. His specialties include computational models, embedded systems, cyber-physical systems, model-driven engineering, and dependable systems, embodying the role of embedded systems in a smart society where technology becomes increasingly integrated into daily life.
