Biography

Tyler J. Bradshaw is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. He obtained his PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin in 2016. Dr. Bradshaw's research focuses on the applications of artificial intelligence in medical imaging, with a specific interest in PET nuclear medicine imaging. His goal is to automate the analysis and interpretation of medical images using machine learning and to explore novel methods that combine medical image analysis with natural language processing (NLP) of medical text through multimodal learning. In addition to his research activities, he oversees the quality assurance program and provides physics support for PET Nuclear Medicine at the UW Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Bradshaw is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Physics, Instrumentation, Data Science Council (PIDSC) of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) and serves on the SNMMI Artificial Intelligence Task Force.
