Tyler Dick holds B.S. (1999) in Civil Engineering from the University of Manitoba, an M.S. (2001), and a Ph.D. (2019) in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. Dick chairs the TRB Joint Subcommittee on Railway Capacity Performance and serves as the secretary for the AREMA Committee 16 on the Economics of Railway Engineering & Operations. He is also on the board of the International Association of Railway Operations Research.
