Dr. Tyson Brown

Biography

Tyson H. Brown is a Professor of Sociology at Duke University, where he also serves as the Director of the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity. With a strong focus on medical sociology, racial studies, and population health science, he integrates innovative theoretical frameworks with advanced data science and statistical methods to explore the causes, consequences, and solutions to racial inequality. His research aims to contribute to the body of knowledge that informs policy and fosters a more equitable society.
