Biography
Udo Weilacher conducts research in international landscape architecture, focusing on the transformation of industrial landscapes, urban spaces, and natural human habitats. Weilacher was appointed as a full professor of landscape architecture and design at the University of Hanover in 2002 and served as the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape Sciences from 2006 to 2008. He joined the Technical University of Munich as a full professor in 2009. An accomplished author, he has many internationally published books and is a member of various professional organizations, including the German Work Federation and the Bavarian Chamber of Architects.
