Biography

Uri Avissar, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where he specializes in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He earned his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry and completed his Bachelor's degree at Yale University. His clinical interests focus on liver disease, liver cancer, and cirrhosis. Dr. Avissar is also a member of the Boston University Evans Center for Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research.
