Biography

Prof. Uta Behrends conducts research in the field of infectious immunology and immunoprevention immunotherapy, focusing primarily on inflammatory, autoimmune, and oncogenic diseases associated with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). Her core projects aim to develop new strategies for diagnostics, therapy, and prevention of complications such as glandular fever.
