Biography

I am an anesthesiologist specializing in obstetrics. My interests include labor analgesia, uterotonics, breastfeeding and anesthesia, and morbidity associated with uterine repair during cesarean delivery. After completing my B.Sc. in Physiology at McGill University, I began a master's program in Environmental Health and Occupational Health, specializing in Toxicology at the University of Montreal. I completed my master's in 2005 while pursuing my medical studies. After finishing my medical studies in 2007, I completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Montreal in 2012. I undertook a clinical and academic fellowship in Obstetrical Anesthesia from 2012 to 2013 at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada.
