Biography

Valeriya Mechkova is an Associate Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg. She defended her PhD dissertation titled 'Understanding Conditions Consequences Women's Political Representation' in January 2022, focusing on how conditions of women's political representation can transform politics and affect development outcomes.
