Biography

Vanita Reddy is an associate professor at Texas A&M University in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is a feminist scholar and cultural critic, whose research focuses on the intersections of race, sexuality, and gender within global contexts. Her work makes visible the subjects and populations that have historically occupied marginalized positions within studies of diaspora and globalization. Reddy's academic interest includes the experiences of women, girls, service sector workers, undocumented migrants, and sexual minorities.
