Biography

Vassilios received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto in 2001 and joined York University in the fall of the same year. His research focuses on software reverse engineering and computer security. Vassilios is the director of the APTLY lab, which concentrates on research topics that connect computers and music, including automatic music classification, transcription, and generation. He also runs the LaSSoftE lab, which develops software for socially aware causes.
