Biography

Vassilios received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto in 2001 and joined York University in the fall of that year. His research primarily focuses on software reverse engineering and computer security. He is the director of the APTLY lab, which concentrates on research topics that connect computer science with music, including automatic music classification, transcription, and generation. Additionally, he runs the LaSSoftE lab, which develops software for socially aware causes.
