Vera Gluscevic is an Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. She obtained her B.Sc. from the University of Belgrade (Serbia) in 2007 and completed her Ph.D. at Caltech in 2013. Following her doctoral studies, she was a postdoctoral member at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton until 2018 and served as a Visiting Research Associate in the Department of Physics at Princeton University during 2018-2019. Since then, she has been an Assistant Professor at USC. Gluscevic is a founding member of several international collaborations, including the CMB-S4 Collaboration and the Simons Observatory. Her research interests center around cosmology and astroparticle physics, focusing on understanding the fundamental processes that shape the universe over cosmic time. She employs theoretical tools and astronomical data analysis to probe dark matter, dark energy, and the evolution of galaxies. Her work aims to devise new observational strategies that span the universe's life, from the cosmic microwave background to small galaxies orbiting the Milky Way. Gluscevic has been recognized with various awards, including the NIH/NSF Career Development Award and the USC Raubenheimer Outstanding Junior Faculty Award.
