Biography

Veronica Cipriani, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Chicago. Her primary research interests focus on the treatment of multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating neurologic diseases, including neuromyelitis optica and anti-MOG encephalomyelitis. Dr. Cipriani is particularly engaged in the diagnosis and management of autoimmune encephalitis and paraneoplastic neurologic disorders, and her clinical interests extend to the treatment of transverse myelitis and neurologic complications associated with rheumatologic diseases. In her role as an educator, she enjoys mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, sharing her expertise in neurology with the next generation of physicians.
