Professor Dr. Veronica Ledesma

Biography

Veronica Ledesma serves as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Co-Director of the Dental Hygiene Laredo Extension Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has a rich background in Clinical Dental Hygiene Education. She earned a Master’s degree in Dental Hygiene from the UT Health San Antonio’s School of Dentistry in 2021. Prior to that, she completed her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Austin Community College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. Her professional journey includes significant roles such as Clinical Coordinator for the Department of Dental Hygiene at Austin Community College and Adjunct Faculty in the same department, where she contributed to the education and training of dental hygiene students. Ledesma brings her extensive experience and knowledge to her students, aiming to enhance their clinical skills and understanding of dental hygiene.
