Dr. Veronique Ambrosini

Biography

Véronique Ambrosini is a Professor of Management specializing in Strategic Management at Monash University, Australia. She serves as the Head of the Department of Management. Prior to joining Monash, she held professorial positions in Strategic Management at the University of Birmingham and Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. Her academic career began at Cranfield School of Management, also in the UK, where she earned her PhD. Ambrosini's research interests encompass dynamic capabilities, business ecological sustainability, tacit knowledge, causal ambiguity, and value creation, focusing especially on critical management education. She has published extensively in prestigious journals such as the Academy of Management Learning & Education, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, and several others. Notably, she is an author and editor of influential texts in strategic management. Ambrosini is recognized internationally, being a Fellow of both the British Academy of Management and the Australia New Zealand Academy of Management. She currently serves as an associate editor for the British Journal of Management and is involved in several editorial boards, dedicating her efforts to advancing management education and research contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals.
