Biography

Véronique Bazier-Matte is an assistant professor in mathematics. She is passionate about teaching and outreach, having first obtained a bachelor's degree in secondary education before pursuing bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics and a doctorate in mathematics. She subsequently undertook a postdoctoral fellowship in the United States as an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Connecticut. Her research primarily focuses on amalgamated algebras, their generalizations, and their connections with other scientific fields. She is now very happy to be back in Quebec, teaching both mathematics and education students while continuing her research work.
