Biography

Véronique Dubé holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Montreal (1996), a Master's in Nursing from Laval University (2005), and a Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Montreal (2012), where she received the Dean's Honour List distinction. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute - University Health Network (2013-2015) under Dr. Katherine S. McGilton and co-supervision of Dr. Francine Ducharme. Since 2016, she has held the Marguerite-d'Youville Research Chair in Humanistic Nursing Interventions at the University of Montreal, focusing her research on developing and evaluating psychoeducational interventions for vulnerable populations, particularly individuals with early-onset Alzheimer's disease and their family caregivers. Her extensive clinical experience as a nurse has been in university hospital settings, general and specialized care, and long-term care facilities, primarily working with elderly patients and their caregivers.
