Biography

Véronique Guèvremont is a full professor at the Faculty of Law, holding the UNESCO Chair on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. She is responsible for the Arts, Media, and Cultural Diversity research area at the International Observatory on Societal Impacts of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology (OBVIA). Additionally, she is a regular member of multiple research groups, including the Centre de droit international et transnational (CDIT) and the Cultures – Arts – Société Research Centre (CELAT). In 2008, she co-founded the International Network of Jurists for the Diversity of Cultural Expression (RIJDEC) and established the Clinic Cultural Law in 2015. Her recent publications include significant contributions to the understanding of international cultural law and its interactions with cultural diversity frameworks.
