Dr. Victor Adamchik

Biography

Victor Adamchik is a Professor of Computer Science Practice at the University of Southern California's Viterbi School of Engineering. He holds a Doctoral Degree from Belorusian State University, awarded in 1987. His research interests encompass a variety of areas within computational mathematics, including computer algebra, experimental mathematics, pen-based computing, discrete mathematics, algorithm analysis, and automated theorem proving. Throughout his career, he has received several notable awards including the 2010 CMU Award for Teaching Excellence and a research grant from the National Science Foundation in 2006. Additionally, Adamchik was the recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship from the USA State Department in 2005, recognizing his contributions to academic research and education. He remains actively engaged in the academic community, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in his fields of interest through teaching and research activities.
