Professor Dr. Victor Bunster

Biography

Victor Bunster is a Senior Lecturer in Architectural Technology at Monash University, where he leverages digital technologies to understand and improve environmental outcomes in industrialized building. As the Associate Director of the Future Building Initiative, Bunster coordinates efforts related to Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). He holds a PhD in Architectural Science and Technology and an MPhil in Design Computing from the University of Melbourne. Bunster is also a registered architect in Chile, with extensive experience working on large-scale social housing projects. His research focuses on Built Environment, Environmental Design, Sustainable Construction, and Decision Support Systems, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. He is actively involved in several research projects aimed at enhancing building practices and outcomes through innovative technology application.
