Biography

Victor Pasko is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1996. Following his graduation, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at Penn State University as an Associate Professor in 2000 after holding post-doctoral research associate positions at Stanford. Pasko was promoted to full professorship at Penn State in 2009 and served as the graduate program coordinator for the department from 2011 to 2022. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union. Throughout his career, Pasko has published over a hundred refereed journal papers. His research focuses on electromagnetics, remote sensing, and atmospheric electrodynamics, among other areas.
