Dr. Victor Solo

Biography

Victor Solo is a Professor and Director of the Research School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of New South Wales. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Queensland and first class honors from UNSW, along with a PhD from the Australian National University. His research spans Systems, Signal Processing, Control, Ill-Conditioned Inverse Problems, Econometrics, Time Series, System Identification, Medical Imaging, Computer Vision, Neural Coding, and Point Processes. He is recognized for his contributions to the field as a Fellow of the IEEE since 1994 and a Fellow of the American Statistical Association since 2015.
