Biography

Victoria Felkl is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Dell Medical School. She provides consultation services for the Texas Child Health Access Telemedicine Child Psychiatry Access Network programs and pediatrics sub-specialty clinics at Dell Children’s Hospital. Previously, she worked as an outpatient child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester in New Hampshire. During her career, she has collaborated regularly with pediatricians at Dartmouth Hitchcock Health and worked with the Rapid Response Team at Elliot Hospital and Catholic Medical Center. Dr. Felkl earned her medical degree from Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado in El Salvador and completed her psychiatry residency at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She pursued a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship where she served as chief fellow at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. Her special interests include perinatal mental health, autism, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Dr. Felkl has rotated through various specialized programs and is a certified provider for evidence-based social skills treatments for preschoolers, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, and socio-emotional problems.
