Victoria L. Woo, DDS, is a Clinical Professor and Director of the Pathology Advanced Education Program at Texas A&M University. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2001 and completed her General Practice Residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Subsequently, she underwent specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, earning a Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology in 2005. With a robust academic background, Dr. Woo served as an Assistant Professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine from 2005 to 2008 and progressed to Associate Professor in-residence at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine from 2008 to 2014. She was promoted to Professor in-residence at UNLV SDM, a position she held until 2020. A diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Dr. Woo is also a fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. She has contributed extensively to the literature and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral Radiology. In addition to her academic responsibilities, Dr. Woo maintains an active clinical oral pathology consultation practice and is the founding director of the UNLV Oral Maxillofacial Pathology Biopsy Service.
