Viggo Sørensen is an Associate Professor Emeritus at Aarhus University, specializing in Jutlandic dialect research. He has contributed significantly to the fields of Dialectology and Lexicography through various academic projects and publications. Over the years, he has held the role of editor for the Jysk Ordbog since 2020 and has been actively involved in lecturing and peer-reviewing manuscripts in his areas of expertise. His academic credentials include a cand.mag. and mag.art. from Aarhus University. Sørensen's research interests focus on Danish dialects, contributing to active projects like the Dictionary of Jutland Dialects.
