Biography

Vijay K Garg is the Cullen Trust Endowed Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He is a distinguished IEEE Fellow and serves as the director of the Parallel Distributed Systems Laboratory. His research contributions span several areas including distributed algorithms, global predicate detection, distributed debugging, simulation, fault-tolerance, lattice theory, and supervisory control of discrete event systems.
