Dr. Vijay Jog

Biography

Vijay Jog is a Chancellor’s Professor Emeritus and Distinguished Research Professor at the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University. A leading authority in corporate finance and performance, he has expertise in corporate performance, corporate governance, and the taxation role in capital markets, particularly concerning the financing of enterprises and initial public offerings. He is an active researcher who has received over $1 million in research grants and is the author of textbooks and numerous articles in international journals. He has won several national and international awards for his research publications, including research achievement awards from Carleton University and the Professor of the Year award at Sprott. Recognized as a “Leader in Management Education” by the National Post, he has been described as “Mr. Value Added” by the Ottawa Citizen. Additionally, Jog is the founder of Corporate Renaissance Group Inc., consulting extensively for government departments, crown corporations, and private sector firms across Canada, the U.S., the Caribbean, Europe, and South Africa. He is also a sought-after speaker and session leader for executive development seminars, contributing to annual gatherings organized by leading professional organizations and companies.
