Viki Kumar Prasad joined the Department of Chemistry at the University of Calgary in July 2024 as an Assistant Professor. He leads the Prasad Research Group, where he oversees the research development and application of novel computational chemistry methodologies. His research interests include Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, and Quantum Chemistry, with a focus on developing quantum machine learning models and optimizing quantum resources for chemical applications. He has received several awards, including the Data Sciences Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship.
