Vikram Durairaj, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Professor at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Raised in Central Texas by physician parents, he has a significant commitment to patient-centered care and medical education. Durairaj has delivered over 400 invited lectures nationally and internationally and has published over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts. He has also served as an editor and reviewer for 18 scholarly publications and has received numerous accolades, including being listed among the top ophthalmologists in America by Newsweek and Texas Monthly. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys tennis and family time with his wife and children.
