Biography

Vilmos F. Misangyi is a Professor of Strategic Management at the Smeal College of Business, The Pennsylvania State University. He holds the Earl P. Strong Professorship in Executive Education and oversees the Management and Organization (M&O) PhD program as well as serving as the Director of the Strategic Management Executive Leadership (SMExL) Masters Program. He completed his PhD in Strategic Management at the University of Florida in 2002, and holds a BA in Financial Administration from Michigan State University. His research interests focus on organizational theory, corporate strategy, and the dynamics of power and influence within organizations. Vilmos teaches various courses including Strategic Management, Organizational Theory, and Business Simulation, helping students to develop practical skills and theoretical frameworks essential for making informed strategic decisions in complex business environments. He is dedicated to enhancing students’ understanding of management principles through both theoretical insights and real-world applications, equipping them for leadership roles in the global market.
