Vincent Denault currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal’s School of Criminology. He previously occupied postdoctoral research positions at McGill University’s Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology and the International Centre for Comparative Criminology at the University of Montreal’s Public Law Research Center. He is a co-founder of the Center for Studies in Nonverbal Communication Sciences and the Deception Research Society. In addition to his academic work, he functions as a scientific consultant, lawyer, and coroner, investigating deaths resulting from negligence in obscure violent circumstances.
