Biography

Vincent Gabriel received his Bachelor's Degree in Medicine (MD) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2000. He completed his residency in the Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Program at the University of Alberta between 2000 and 2005. Following this, he participated in the Rehabilitation Medicine Scientist Training Program at the University of Texas and became part of the Clinical Scholar's Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Centre in Dallas, where he was awarded a Master's degree in 2010. His current practice focuses on rehabilitation medicine with an emphasis on burns and polytrauma. His research interests center around the biology of human scarring, particularly the quantification of human hypertrophic scars.
