Dr. Vincent Homburg

Biography

Vincent Homburg is an Associate Professor of Public Administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he focuses on e-government and public management theory. With a Master's degree from Twente University and a PhD from Groningen University, his research encompasses national and comparative studies in e-government. Homburg has contributed significantly to the literature on public management information systems, authoring over sixty peer-reviewed articles and co-editing works such as 'Information Ecology E-Government' and 'New Public Management in Europe'. He has also written 'Understanding E-Government: Information Systems in Public Administration'. In addition to his research, he teaches at the bachelor, master, and post-initial master levels, supervising PhD students across varied topics. Homburg received the PhD supervisor award from the Netherlands Institute of Government in 2010.
