Biography

Vincent LaBarbera, MD, is a neurologist with a specialization in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular medicine. His clinical interests include Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). He graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in 2016, where he was recognized with the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors. Following his graduation, Dr. LaBarbera completed his residency in neurology at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital and then pursued a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology. He holds board certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and is the medical director of the Louise Wilcox ALS Clinic at Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. LaBarbera is actively involved in medical education within the Department of Neurology at Brown University, contributing to the training and mentorship of future physicians in the field of neurology.
