Dr. Vincent Lagendijk

Biography

Vincent Lagendijk is an assistant professor in the History Department at Maastricht University, working part-time while also serving as a senior researcher at the Rathenau Institute in The Hague. He trained as an economic historian at Leiden University before completing his Ph.D. in history and technology at Eindhoven University of Technology. Lagendijk's research focuses primarily on the history of international organizations, examining the role of experts, the ideology of technology, and transnational connections. His expertise in these areas provides valuable insights into how technology and historical narratives shape modern organizational structures and relationships.
