Vincenzo Pusino received his MSc in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from Italy in 2008 and completed his PhD in Electronic & Electrical Engineering at the University of Glasgow in 2014. His doctoral research focused on novel techniques for delivering high-frequency semiconductor mode-locked lasers used in optical telecommunications. Following his PhD, he remained at the University of Glasgow and joined the Microsystem Technology (MST) Group, led by Professor David Cumming. His work within the MST group centered on advanced detectors and focal plane arrays for imaging in the medium infrared spectral region. He gained significant expertise in various roles, including Research Assistant, Research Associate, and ultimately Research Fellow. In September 2022, he was appointed as a Lecturer in Electronic Photonic Devices.
